Summer Concert Series
Mark your calendars! Sunday evenings in July from 6pm to 8pm. You are invited to an evening of music on the grass. 3888 27 1/2 Rd. Bring a lawn chair, and enjoy a warm summer evening filled with melody and friends! Food for purchase will be available.
July 7th: The Desert Flyer Band. The Desert Flyer Band has performed throughout Western Colorado and Utah for over ten years. Recently, the band added vocalist/lead guitarist Greg Achord to the lineup. The group is performing at venues such as The Hitchin' Post in Norwood, CO, the Mesa Theater and Club, the Montrose Music Festival, Whiskey River, the Annual Pork and Hops Festival in Grand Junction, as well as the Vintage Motorcycle Days in Gateway, CO.
July 7th Food: St. Matt’s Stone Soup will be serving hot dogs and apple pie! All net proceeds will benefit the Outreach program. In partnership with the Soup Kitchen, St. Matthew’s Stone Soup prepares and serves food to our brothers and sisters the last Saturday of each month.
July 14th Band: Katie and the Players. Katie and the Players is a band with a big gospel feel and powerhouse vocals and vibes. Honoring the classic traditions of funk and R&B while embracing the cross-genre nature of modern pop and neo-soul, they bring a fresh, soulful sound to the Grand Valley music scene. Come enjoy St. Matt’s music director as she and her band play for our summer concert series.
July 14th Food Truck: Sitto’s Arabic Food Truck will be on site.
July 21st Band: Piper Davis. Piper Davis is a singer and guitarist based in Boulder County. Drawing inspiration from her Western Colorado roots, she and her fellow musician Alex Blackford pay tribute to iconic artists like Linda Ronstandt & Keith Whitley, John Hartford & Nanci Griffith, Kacey Musgraves & Watchhouse, among others- weaving nostalgic country influences with traditional and contemporary bluegrass and folk.
July 21st Food Truck: Monarca (Mexican) Food Truck will be on site.
July 28th Band: Exit 42. Exit 42 boasts over two and a half decades of playing hard and having fun. Their brand of country and Southern rock brings audiences to clapping, stomping, dancing in the aisles every time. Band members include Scott Davis on guitar and vocals; Dave Ely, pedal steel guitar and vocals; Kent Balog, bass, flute and harmonica; Dave Harrelson, drums and vocals; and Kelly Balog, vocals.
July 28th Food Truck: Smoky Bones Food Truck will be on site.
