Join us this Advent Season when St. Matt’s will host a 4-week series on personal psalm writing beginning Sunday November 27th through December 18th, from 11:30-1:00
During our time together we will:
Discover how the psalms speak to a variety of circumstances in our lives.
Explore a different type of psalm each week.
Learn techniques the psalmists employed to craft their poems.
Use the psalms as a model for writing our own psalms of prayer, reflection and worship.
These gatherings will not cover the craft of writing or concern itself with rules of grammar, spelling or punctuation! No writing experience is necessary! Bring your laptop or journal and favorite pen to scribe and save your psalm creations! Sharing is optional. Classes do not build on one another so come as you’re able.
