An Introduction to Benedictine Spirituality

Over 900 years of Benedictine presence in England had a profound effect on Thomas Cranmer's compiling of the first Book of Common Prayer. Join Fr. Emil at 9:00 AM beginning May 1st and the following three Sundays concluding May 22nd, as we explore the characteristics of Benedictine spirituality. Find out more about Benedict of Nursia, his Rule as it speaks to us over 1,500 years, and its continuing importance in the 21st century. No book purchase is necessary, but those interested in delving deeper may find it helpful to have a copy of Joan Chittister's The Rule of Benedict: A Spirituality for the 21st Century. Everyone is welcome! For questions, please contact Fr. Emil at sarum99@gmail.com
