Voices of the Christian Faith: Dan Brunner and Eco-TheologyIn today's world of impending climate and ecological crisis, what does the Christian tradition have to offer a dying world?
Dan Brunner, professor of Christian History and Formation at Portland Seminary will be giving a talk on Eco-Theology. In a world that is on the brink of ecological disaster, what does the world's largest religion have to contribute to the healing of our world? Drawing on Christian Scripture, Tradition, and Science, Dan will give us an introduction to the unfortunately often unknown world of Eco-Theology. Showing us that at the root of the Christian faith, namely the confession that God became a part of this world, are the resources we need for the restoration and healing of our climate and ecological systems.
