Our Sunday School class as been blessed with many new children.  So much so that we have outgrown our classroom!  It's truly a wonderful problem.  And as is typical of St. Matt's, when a problem is encountered (and especially when children are involved), mountains are moved to accommodate- or in this case- walls will be torn down.  The chapel and hospitality set-up room will be turned into a second classroom!  Children will be split by age groups and will have the same lesson plan, but slightly varied to accommodate each age group.

The Sunday school class continues in the series titled “Heroes.”    In this series, we will learn that by following  the examples of courage, commitment, loyalty, and honor from the heroes of old, we too can learn to put our trust in God and live heroic lives ourselves.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.  And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”  Hebrews 12:1

The goal of the nursery service and the staff who oversee the nursery at St. Matthew’s is to provide quality childcare in a safe and clean environment on Sunday mornings.  We aim to provide worry-free care for parents who attend worship services at St. Matthew’s.  Those who oversee the nursery have been trained and follow the Safeguarding God’s Children guidelines provided by the National Church.

The nursery is a safe, clean environment for babies and toddlers, and it is the pleasure of the staff and Youth and Family Minister to be able to provide a nurturing, Godly place for children to grow and develop!  Any questions or concerns, please contact the Youth and Family Minister in the church office, 970-242-3293.
