ALPHA
Lay leaders and table facilitators present a 10-week course
highlighting basics of the Christian faith to church goers and
unchurched alike. Each of the 10 sessions include a meal, video

EFM—Education for Ministry
EFM is a scholarly study of scripture, church history and theology.
It is produced by the School of Theology at the University of the
South. In total, it is a 4-year course, with your commitment to the
current year only. Contact Person: Jeanne Berryman.
Lectionary Series
The Lectionary Study group meets each Sunday before the services
(except in summer) to discuss, review, and study the assigned
readings for the particular Sunday. The group also meets for special
occasions as planned. Contact Person: Sharon Foster.
Men's Monday Morning Bible Study
Participants read small portions of the Bible and discuss the
relevance of the lesson to daily life, as discerned by the
participants. Bring a Bible or use one from St. Matthew's library.
Coffee and doughnuts are provided. Meets at 7AM each Monday (except
Holidays), in St. Matt's library. Contact Person: Darin Carei.
Tuesday Noon Ladies Bible Study
Ladies meet in the library for "Brown Bag" lunch and Bible study. We
choose a book of the Bible and purchase a study guide. The material
is read before each meeting. Contact Person: Jacqueline Hansen.
Wednesday Women's Bible Study
This ministry is open to all women in St. Matthew's. The parts of
the Bible studied are determined by members. Contact Person: Doris
